Lisa Benedetti has an Honours Bachelor of Science degree from Laurentian University, Canada. She has a strong interest in environmental conservation and has worked for both the Ontario Ministry of Natural Resources and the Canadian Wildlife Service of Environment Canada where her experiences ranged from monitoring of invertebrate, fish and avian species to eco-toxicological studies. She has been working with UNU-INWEH since August 2008 and is also currently pursuing a part-time Masters in Applied Science at Ryerson University, Toronto. As Project Associate, Lisa brings scientific, technical and administrative knowledge to UNU-INWEH's Coastal Ecosystems Programme.
