K* Conference 2012 - Ground Transportation Options

 

  • March 28, 2012

  • Most of the K* Conference participants will be flying into Toronto’s main airport which is about 45 minutes from the Sheraton Hotel in Hamilton. The easiest way to get to Hamilton is to pre-arrange transportation with one of the following companies.

  • Ground Transportation from Toronto Pearson Intll Airport (YYZ):

    • 1. Aerofleet Limo:  Towncar service. www.aerofleet.ca
    • Cost 89$ (one-way, including all taxes)
    • a) Once you arrive at the airport, have cleared customs and have picked up your baggage, call Aerofleet from your cell phone or a pay phone to advise them which terminal you are at, and they will give you instructions as to where to go for pickup.
    • b) Phone: 1-416-449-4990  or 1-800-268-0905 (toll free)

    • Note:You can also book your return trip from the Sheraton to the Airport at the same rate, and subsequently adjust the pickup timing by calling Aerofleet’s toll free number once you are have arrived in Hamilton

    • 2. Airways Transit:  (www.airwaystransit.com)  Airport Shuttle service
    • Cost $54 (one-way, per passenger, including all taxes) for bookings made by April 16th.
      • a) Book by phone fax or online 905-689-4460; Fax (905) 689-5556, or
      • b) via the website using Conference Code: UNU2012 (no spaces), or
      • c) use the this form
      • d) Once you have arrived please check in at the “Out of Town Vans” counter. At TERMINAL 1 it is on the Ground Level, inside the terminal between “Posts R & S”. At TERMINAL 3 it is on the Arrivals Level, inside the terminal Beside exit “Door C”
    • Note: You can also book your return trip from the Sheraton to the Airport at the same preferential rate, and subsequently adjust the pickup timing by calling Airways Transit once you are have arrived in Hamilton.
    • 3. Taxis are also available at the airport. The costs will almost certainly be higher than either of the above options and there may be a line up.

     

  • Note: In the unlikely event that you are flying direct into John C. Munro Hamilton International Airport (YHM), ground transportation options from the airport are:

    • 1. Airways Transit ($50 – one or two passengers)
      • a) Pre-book as above
    • 2. Taxi from the Taxi rank (cost is approximately $40)
