Ensuring Impacts from Sustainable Land Management

Ensuring Impacts from SLM - Development of a Global Indicator System

The KM:Land Initiative is a multi-agency effort led by the Global Environment Facility (GEF), that is intended to lay the foundations for a comprehensive system to track progress across the focal area for sustainable land management (SLM).

The first phase of this initiative is a medium-sized project "Ensuring Impacts from SLM: Development of a Global Indicator System." Under this MSP, indicators to demonstrate the benefits derived from actions on sustainable land management will be developed.  More details about the project are available within the GEF project document (PDF, 232Kb).
