Dr. Susan Elliott
Senior Research Fellow: Water-Health Nexus

Dr. Susan Elliott is a professor of Geography in the School of geography and Earth Sciences at McMaster University in Canada. She completed her Ph.D. in medical geography in 1992 and since that time has published extensively in a range of health-related areas including the psychosocial impacts of environmental exposures and the geographies of health promotion. She is currently a co-theme leader in Allergen, a Canadian National Centre of Excellence on allergies and asthma in the environment, and a co-principal investigator on SCALAAR, a national Canadian survey on food allergies. Former Director of the Institute of Environment and Health and former Dean of Social Sciences at McMaster, she is now a Senior Research Fellow with UNU-INWEH.
